The Department of Management Science and Information Systems (MSIS) has a tenure-track opening in information systems/technology at the assistant professor level for the Fall 2005 Semester. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in computer information systems or a closely related discipline with strong methodological training, outstanding research potential, and excellent communication skills. Candidates with research interests in data mining, information security, electronic commerce and databases are especially encouraged to apply. The applicants are expected to teach undergraduate, MBA, and Ph.D. level courses, be actively involved in research, and supervise Ph.D. students in the area of information systems. The MSIS Faculty research interests include electronic commerce, databases, information systems security, data mining, multimedia, and digital libraries. supply-chain management/statistical/etc: The Department of Management Science and Information Systems (MSIS) has tenure-track openings at the assistant professor level for the Fall 2005 Semester. A candidate must be an active researcher and have a record of scholarly excellence. Special consideration will be given to candidates with interests in areas associated with supply-chain management, such as statistical process control, times series analysis and forecasting, and reliability.
